"THE NEXT PAGE"

     The first edition of the alumni newsletter was in 1994.  The Victoria High School newsletter is called THE PAGE and so THE NEXT PAGE seemed to be an appropriate title for the alumni newsletter.

     The newsletter is a great way of informing the members of alumni events and accomplishments. The newsletter is a resource for all alumni to publish personal occurrences of interest to the members of the association, such as births, marriages, deaths, and accomplishments.  It is an outlet for news pertaining to our alma mater, the Victoria school district, and the community.

     THE NEXT PAGE is published twice a year, in the spring and in August before homecoming.  PAID MEMBERS receive both issues and NON-PAID MEMBERS receive the August issue.  Printing and mailing of the newsletter is costly, therefore, the two issues are sent to paying members only.  The newsletter prior to homecoming is sent to all alumni as a gesture of courtesy to inform everyone of the activities planned for homecoming and as a gentle reminder to join the association. 

     The newsletter has always received great reviews from alumni far and near along with words of encouragement to continue it.  Compiling the data and information for the newsletter is a very tedious and time-consuming task.  If you have any news you would like to have published, it would be helpful to forward it to: VHS Alumni Association, P.O.
