2010 Golf Tournament The time has come to finalize your plans to sign up for the Annual VHS Alumni Golf Tournament benefiting the scholarship fund. You don’t want to miss out on having a good time. We are adding some new twists to our tournament this year. First of all, we are playing at Fort Hays Municipal Golf Course. This is a first class, 18 hole golf course with blue grass fair ways. We are also looking for corporate sponsorship and individual hole sponsors. Corporate sponsorship will be $100.00 and the sponsors will be recognized at the golf course and at the banquet Saturday night. Hole sponsorship is $50.00 and each sponsor will be recognized with a sign on individual holes on the golf course. Here are the specifics: We will be playing a 4 person scramble on September 17th. The cost is $40.00 a person/$160.00 a team. The price includes lunch at the clubhouse, beverages, hole prizes, and give aways. The more sponsors there are, the more prizes and give aways! Carts will be available to rent at the course for $20.00. First come, first served on the carts. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. and we will have a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start. Based on the number of teams we have, prizes will be awarded to the top 3 places in each flight. Although this is an alumni tournament and we hope many alumni sign up, we are opening the tournament to non alumni also. So here is your chance to bring your favorite “A” players just to make things interesting. Even if you don’t golf or know what the game of golf is all about, you could be a corporate sponsor or hole sponsor and help support our scholarship fund. We are looking forward to seeing many of you on September 17th.
