~ Linda Kenne ~ Hubert "Willie" Wilson ~ Connie Braun

Linda Kenne came to Victoria 19 years ago from Easton, Kansas. Mrs. Kenne’s accomplishments as principal and superintendent here in Victoria are numerous. Mrs. Kenne and her husband, John, continue to live in Victoria along with her mother. They have four children; a son, Paul; three daughters, Stephanie, Jennifer ‘99, and Jacquelyn ’99; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Hubert “Willie” Wilson joined the faculty of Victoria High School in 1962. He had a tremendous impact on his students in his teaching career in Victoria. He is probably remembered most for his outstanding baseball achievements. He led the Knights to many state baseball championships. Coach Wilson and his wife, Janet, are retired in Malakoff, Texas.

Connie Braun began her teaching career in Victoria as a substitute teacher for two years, before joining as a full time teacher in the fall of 1997. Mrs. Braun has been involved in many extracurricular tasks. In 1999, Future Homemakers of America (FHA) changed its name to Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). Over the years, under her leadership, FCCLA makes up 75% of the student body with many leadership accomplishments. Mrs. Braun, along with her husband John '84, have two children, Cara '10 and Amanda '12.

When all Victoria Knights fall in line,
We’re gonna' win this game right now.
And for the V-H-S-Ah-Yes-Ah-Yes,
And for the colors maroon and gold, I yell, I yell!
We’re going to' fight, fight, fight, for every game.
And make the other side all sore and lame,
We’re going to' roll those Eagles
off the field, off the field,
